About Happy Hours Pre-School
Happy Hours Pre-School is part of Early Explorers Childcare Ltd, owned by Danielle Wrightson. Danielle holds a degree in Early Childhood Studies from University of Chichester and brings over twelve years of experience in childcare. She has previously managed a successful Montessori nursery and run her own private music company, combining creativity, leadership and a deep understanding of early childhood development to shape the values of our setting.
The Pre-School is led by Manager Charlie Phoon, a qualified Early Years Teacher (EYTS) with experience across a range of early years environments. As well as being an experienced educator, Charlie is also a parent herself, which strengthens her understanding of how important these early years are for families. The Pre School is led by Manager Charlie Phoon, a qualified Early Years Teacher (EYTS) with extensive experience across early years settings and a strong passion for inclusive child development. She is supported by SENDCo Debbie Lafferty, a highly experienced teacher specialising in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and Deputy Manager Linzi Mann, who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for creating engaging learning opportunities. Together, our team is dedicated to ensuring every child receives tailored support to reach their full potential.
Our Aims
We aim to work in partnership with our parents through the structure of our key worker development programme. This programme enables each staff member to monitor carefully the development of children within their care, by completing individual learning journals for children and liaising on a regular basis with parents. This encourages each child to progress to his or her full potential in a warm, secure and caring environment.
